The 3 Masketeers - 3 Masks For Flawless Skin

I'd hope that most people, if not everyone, would have at least one mask in their skincare regime. Masks are a fantastic way of giving a your skincare a boost or targeting specific areas of concerns. Especially in winter time, as our skin needs that extra boost.

I currently have not one BUT three masks in my weekly regime! This may seem a little excessive to some people, however each mask has different properties, therefore carries out a different function and provides different benefits to the skin.

I'd like to share with you the 3 masks I'm currently using, to keep my skin looking it's best. When I use them, What benefits they provide and Who I think they'd be suitable for. (I won't go into too much details, as I have already OR will be reviewing them separately).

1. Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Face Mask - The Repairing One
When - Sunday evenings, particularly good if you've been out on a Saturday night and feeling broken!
What - This mask is all about repairing the appearance of skin damage. Rich in Trans Retonic Acid, it delivers a high does of Pro-Vitamin A to boost the skins natural repair function. Follow up with the Rosehip BioRegenerate Face Oil for a winning combo.
Who - Suitable for All Skin Types. Particularly beneficial for people with sun damaged skin, showing signs of premature ageing.

2. Super Facialist Pore Purifying Clay Mask - The Deep Cleansing One
When - Wednesday evening. As part of a mid-week facial.
What - With purifying clay and high levels of salicylic acid, this mask is all about deep cleansing and keeping the pores clear. It also contains lots of wonderful skin balancing ingredients and is amazing value for money!
Who - Most beneficial for people with oily / combination skin, who are prone to blackheads and blocked pores. Sensitives skins should use with caution though!

3. Elemis Post Shave Recovery Mask - The Soothing One
When - Saturday morning, after my shave, because I don't have a spare 15 minutes during the week!
What - This mask is all about soothing and calming the skin after you shave. It uses Lavender, Macadamia, Rosemary and Thyme to help calm any irritation and restores vital nutrients that are lost during shaving.
Who - Mainly Men, but it's suitable for Women with normal / combination skin too (as it's the same formulation as the Elemis Herbal Lavender Repair Mask).

Also it's worth mentioning, if you have combination skin or a mixture of different concerns, therefore need different treatments for different areas of the face, then don't be restricted to using one mask all over the face. Use different masks on the areas you need them.

    2. Really? I like the cleanser, haven't had it for a while though due to the cost of it! I have a sample size of the mask if you want to try it? I've got a massive pot. I'm going to the Bham meet up tomorrow so can bring it there x

  6. I try and do one twice a week but it doesn't always work out like that which is silly as I own too many masks. enough to do a different one twice a day for a week. ;) Obviously I wouldn't do that. x

    1. It's actually more like a thick whipped butter than a cream. It melts on the skin, it's really lovely :)
