This is another of the little gems I got in my Birmingham Blogger Meetup goodie bag. Unless you're reading my blog for the first time, you'll know I am a huge Elemis fan. Particularly their skincare range. So imagine my delight to find a 200ml Elemis Revitalise-Me Shower Gel lurking in my bag of skincare heavenliness!
Described as 'uplifting' and 'invigorating', so naturally is more suited for morning showers. Unless of course you're in need of a pick me up before a big night out. It's SLS-free, using coconut and mango derived cleansing agents and contains essential oils of Thyme, Basil and Neroli to 'awaken body and mind'. It also contains citrus oils of Lemon, Sweet Orange and Lime. It has quite a herbal scent to it, with the Neroli just punching through.
It's a lovely shower product. It smells fantastic, it's a pleasure to use and leaves the skin feeling clean without being dry. As with a few of the 'Elemis sp@home' products I've tried though, although I like them, I feel they don't quite live up to the same standards as the 'Elemis skincare' products. Whether, being Elemis, I just have very high expectations, I'm not sure. At £17 for 200ml I wouldn't go out my way to buy it, although I'd more than happy to use it again if I received it as part of the many Elemis TSV's I buy from QVC. Which reminds me, I still haven't used the last one I bought yet AND there is another one coming on March 3rd.
I better go and get some serious pampering done, if I'm going to clear my Elemis stash ready for March!

Dang, I saw this in a really affordable set over Christmas -- should have gotten it!
